Over 1,600 pounds of useful load allows 6 passengers and their baggage to quickly cover 2 hours of flying. Remove the back two seats and extend the range to almost 1,000 miles with 800 pound load.
The Baron's twin IO-470 engines, with 520 horse power, will easily cruise at 175 knots burning around 24 gallons an hour.
The Aspen Flight Display and King KFC 200 Autopilot will give comfort to the pilot that is familiar with the modern glass cockpit. The WAAS GPS with Garmin Moving Map display will make easy work of IFR weather. Meanwhile the XM radio will keep all the passengers entertained.
